About me
My passion for Process Excellence (Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvements, Lean Six Sigma, you name it) started back in 2009 when I found myself teaching statistics at a Green Belt Lean Six Sigma training and received powerful feedback: “Pawel, I was on several stat courses before, but this is the first time I fully understood the concept and see how it can help in my work! Thank you!”.
Since then, I have:
- Trained 500+ engineers from manufacturing, quality, and R&D in statistical methods and tools
- Managed a group of technology engineers working on new and improved chemical, coating, and robotics installations across several manufacturing sites
- Developed and drove implementation of the concept of manufacturing processes maturity assessment, targeted to support Quality at the Source initiative
- Trained 1000+ practitioners in the areas of project management, change management, problem-solving, data-driven decisions, Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, Kaizen, etc.
- Coached and developed 70+ high potential leaders within the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt development program
- Delivered consulting and coaching sessions for 200+ complex improvement projects in the areas of manufacturing, supply chain, legal, business, shared services, etc.
- Developed specific statistical methods for the service industry (monitoring time-critical processes with non-normal distribution, establishing meaningful KPIs, etc.)
- Re-designed a three-week long, enterprise-wide training course for high potential leaders, utilizing the ADDIE framework (from defining desired competencies to be developed, through designing appropriate learning activities and case studies, up to developing final materials) and contributed to implementing it globally
- Developed Operational Excellence Framework – a set of processes built on a coherent blend of Lean, DMAIC, and Project Management methodologies that are turning business strategy into improved business results – and implemented it in global enterprise
